Terms of service

These terms apply to the SynVox Nova app for Windows, to this website and to the SynVox Nova Pro subscription (the “paid plan”). By using them you accept these terms. Contact: synvoxnova@gmail.com.

1. The service

SynVox Nova changes and translates your voice using third-party AI services, and processes the result on your computer (equalizer, effects and ambience). It is beta software: it may contain errors, and features may change.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account, the same one in the app and on the website. Keep it secure: you are responsible for what is done with your SynVox Nova account. In “My account” you can see and sign out your open sessions. You must be at least 16, and old enough to enter into a contract where you live, to subscribe.

3. ElevenLabs and DeepL

The app works with your own ElevenLabs account and, for Voice Translate, your own DeepL account. Their fees, credits, limits and terms are between you and them, and are not included in SynVox Nova Pro. We do not control their availability or quality. A request that fails or times out may still use credits on your account.

4. Free and Pro

• Free: Voice Changer with the 10 Free voices, at no cost.
• Pro: every voice in your ElevenLabs account, Voice Translate, equalizer, effects, ambience and the other Pro tools.
• Pro costs 7.99 USD per month. The amount shown on Stripe’s payment page is the amount charged.
• Pro renews automatically every month until you cancel. If we change the price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
• You can cancel at any time from “My account” on this website or in the app (Accounts → Subscription → Manage subscription). You keep Pro until the end of the period already paid.
• If a renewal payment fails, you keep Pro for up to 7 days while Stripe retries; after that the account goes back to Free.

5. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your first Pro payment, write to us within 14 days of it and we will refund it in full. Later payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it or if you were charged by mistake. This does not limit any right you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use SynVox Nova to impersonate real people without their consent, to deceive, defraud, harass or threaten anyone, or for anything illegal. You must also follow the usage policies of ElevenLabs and DeepL. We may suspend Pro or an account that breaks these rules.

7. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. Do not modify it to bypass the Pro plan, resell it or redistribute modified copies. What you say and create with the app is yours.

8. Community

Community posts are written by the SynVox Nova team. They are for information: features marked “exploring” or “in development” are not a launch promise and are not part of what you buy.

9. Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, for credits or fees charged by third-party services, or for losses caused by their failures. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending

You can stop using SynVox Nova and cancel Pro at any time. We may discontinue the service; if we do, we will refund the unused part of any period you have already paid.

11. Law

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

12. Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app and on the website before they apply.
